Does SuperHumanizer bypass ZeroGPT? The vendor named ZeroGPT in public as a detector it built the product against, then left it out of every sales page it owns.

Detection Drama · 2026 Verdict

The only tool that bypassed Pangram and Turnitin in 2026.

Most humanizers clear one detector and get caught by the other. StealthWriter is the one that gets past both — run Ghost 5.2 Pro at level 7–8, section by section, and re-check before you submit.

Key Takeaways

  • The vendor named ZeroGPT, in public, as something the product was built and tested against: “We built SuperHumanizer based on our own AI detector, as well as ZeroGPT and GPTZero, to test its capabilities.”
  • Yet ZeroGPT appears nowhere on superhumanizer.ai. The homepage names Turnitin, GPTZero and Originality.ai. The pricing page names GPTZero. The detector it was built against is not sold against.
  • The same disclosure gives the method: 11 samples, graded partly by the vendor’s own detector, producing “up to a 95% bypass rate”. The homepage advertises 97%. The number rose after the method was dropped.
  • The only public ZeroGPT score on its output is a user’s: 18.1% AI, May 2026. We will say plainly what most pages in this market will not — that reads as a pass. It is also the tool’s best public result anywhere.
  • By August 2026 a second user reported it “does not pass ai detectors (zerogpt, originality, gptzero) anymore”, with a sample returning “100% ai detected even after humanizing.”
  • Here is the catch the marketing would rather you missed: ZeroGPT is the detector whose pass proves least. It was in the seven-detector study that found a 61.22% average false positive rate, and it once rated the US Constitution 92.15% AI.
  • Correction and credit. On 3 September 2026 we reported template placeholders live in its Terms. They are now fixed — governing law reads England and Wales. The detector disclaimers remain.

Does SuperHumanizer bypass ZeroGPT - 2026 evidence review
First, the name. ZeroGPT is not GPTZero. They are different products from different companies with near-identical names, and evidence about one is constantly attributed to the other. ZeroGPT is zerogpt.com, which markets “DeepAnalyse™ Technology”. GPTZero is gptzero.me, founded by Edward Tian, which stamps results with a model version. A vendor claiming to beat “ZeroGPT” has not said anything about GPTZero, and vice versa. We keep them apart throughout.
ZeroGPT is not GPTZero - how to tell the two detectors apart

Does SuperHumanizer bypass ZeroGPT?

This is the one detector question where SuperHumanizer starts from a real position. When we asked whether SuperHumanizer bypasses Turnitin, the vendor’s own answer was that it does not consider Turnitin a common detector and never trained against it. ZeroGPT is the opposite: it is named by the vendor, first in the list, as a tool the product was built and tested on.

“We built SuperHumanizer based on our own AI detector, as well as ZeroGPT and GPTZero, to test its capabilities… Based on our internal tests using 11 samples of AI text, we achieved up to a 95% bypass rate.”The account operating r/SuperHumanizer, quoted verbatim

So the tool has a genuine claim to relevance here. What it does not have is a single published ZeroGPT result — not a figure, not a date, not a screenshot — for a detector that costs nothing to test. This page reports no first-party test; everything below was fetched on 21 September 2026.

Why is ZeroGPT missing from every sales page?

We read superhumanizer.ai’s homepage, pricing page and Terms at source and grepped each for “ZeroGPT”. It does not appear on any of them.

What does appear is a different list. The homepage promises that humanized text “can easily pass AI detection tools like Turnitin, GPTZero, and Originality.ai”. The pricing tiers — Basic at $12 a month for 15,000 words, Pro at $19 for 50,000 — each carry the line “Bypass All AI Detectors including GPTZero”.

The asymmetry, stated plainly. The detector the vendor says it built against is the one detector it never sells against. We are not going to guess at why. We are recording it because the sales pages and the development disclosure describe two different products, and only one of those documents has a method attached to it.

Three vendor claims for one property, and the only one with a stated method is the smallest. Eleven samples is not a benchmark; it is a smoke test. Grading them partly with the vendor’s own detector means part of the result measures agreement between two products from the same company.

Note the direction of travel too. The disclosed test produced up to 95%. The homepage advertises 97%. The number went up after the methodology was left behind.

What do users actually report against ZeroGPT?

Two detailed organic reports exist, five months apart, and they point in opposite directions.

In May 2026 a poster ran Super Ultra output through both detectors and reported 18.1% AI on ZeroGPT and 49% human on GPTZero, publishing the source text.

We are going to give the tool its due here. ZeroGPT returns a percentage gauge, and 18.1% on that gauge reads as predominantly human. On the face of it that is a pass, and it is the strongest public result SuperHumanizer has against any detector anywhere. Most pages competing for this query will not say that, because saying it complicates the story. It is what the evidence shows.

Two things qualify it. The same workflow returned 49% human on GPTZero, which is not a pass but a coin flip a marker would read as suspicious. And it is one person, one sample, one day — roughly the evidentiary weight of the vendor’s own eleven-sample test.

In August 2026 a second user wrote that the humanizer “does not pass ai detectors (zerogpt, originality, gptzero) anymore”, posting a sample that came back “100% ai detected even after humanizing.”

Both reports concern the exact detectors named in the vendor’s development disclosure. That is the least favourable place for a tool to be reported failing, and the most informative: nobody is claiming these two users tested it against something it was never designed for.

Can you check ZeroGPT yourself?

ZeroGPT is free and needs no account. You can paste up to 15,000 characters per check at zerogpt.com right now, which is more per scan than GPTZero’s signed-out tier allows.

A genuine current ZeroGPT result shows a percentage gauge giving the share of the text it reads as AI, plus sentence-level highlighting of the passages it flagged. The paid tiers add automatically generated PDF reports.

So for this detector there is no access excuse. Any vendor claiming to beat ZeroGPT can demonstrate it in a minute, for nothing, and so can you.

Which makes the absent screenshot heavier here than in the Turnitin case. With Turnitin, every vendor in this market has a real excuse: Turnitin sells no individual licences and shows students no AI report, so no consumer can produce a genuine screenshot. ZeroGPT removes the excuse entirely. A vendor that built its product against ZeroGPT, ran internal tests against ZeroGPT and advertises a bypass rate could publish proof in the time it takes to make coffee.

How reliable is ZeroGPT itself?

ZeroGPT advertises “98.4% Detection accuracy” and a “<1% False positive rate” across “20+ LLM families”. No study, sample size, corpus or date is cited for any of those three figures anywhere on the site.

The independent record is less flattering and older. ZeroGPT was one of the seven detectors in Liang et al. (2023), which ran 91 TOEFL essays by non-native English writers through all seven and reported a 61.22% average false positive rate against near-perfect accuracy on US eighth-grade essays. The per-detector results appear only as a graph, with no individual figure stated numerically, so that average is not ZeroGPT’s own score — but ZeroGPT is inside it.

The best-known single result is a false positive. In 2023 ZeroGPT rated the United States Constitution as 92.15% AI-generated. That is a three-year-old result against a product that has changed since, and we are not treating it as current evidence. It is worth knowing because it is the reason the tool carries the reputation it does.

One caution about sourcing. Search results for ZeroGPT’s accuracy are dominated by blogs run by humanizer vendors — companies that sell the product for defeating it. We have not used those as evidence anywhere in this cluster, and neither should you.

This cuts against the tool, not for it. If ZeroGPT is the detector with the weakest published evidence base in this cluster — unsourced accuracy claims, membership of the seven-detector cohort that produced a 61.22% average false positive rate, and a famous false positive on a founding document — then a ZeroGPT pass is the cheapest pass available. Training against it is training against the easiest marker in the room. That does not make 18.1% fake. It makes it worth less than the number looks.

There is one more thing worth knowing about this particular detector, because it explains a lot of the noise around it: ZeroGPT sells its own AI humanizer, listed in its own product navigation as a tool to “rewrite to pass review”, alongside the detector that flags the rewriting. Both sides of that trade run on the same domain.

Has any detector company tested SuperHumanizer?

No. Not one.

It is absent from the appendix table in GPTZero’s February 2026 paper, which names nine bypass services individually. It is absent from the nineteen humanizers audited in Pangram’s DAMAGE paper and from the twenty scored in Pangram’s August 2025 benchmark. Pangram’s July 2026 paper anonymises all thirteen tools it tested, so presence there can be neither confirmed nor excluded.

So every figure in circulation about this product — 97%, 95%, 18.1%, 100% — comes from either the vendor or a single user. We cover the other detectors in does SuperHumanizer bypass GPTZero and does SuperHumanizer bypass Pangram.

What changed in the Terms since we last looked?

Something, and it is a fix, so we are recording it as one.

On 3 September 2026 we reported that SuperHumanizer’s Terms still carried unedited template placeholders — “the laws of [Insert Country/State]” and “the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction]” — eleven months after their stated effective date. On 21 September 2026 those placeholders are gone. The governing-law clause now reads “the laws of England and Wales”, which is consistent with the operating company, Kamranali Limited.

The refund terms also hold up better than most in this market. The pricing page advertises a 7-Day Money Back Guarantee; the Terms say seven days and fewer than 2,000 words used. Those two documents agree, which is not something we get to write often in this cluster — Humbot advertises thirty days at checkout and grants seven in the contract.

What has not changed is the part that matters for this question. The Terms still say output is not guaranteed to be “always undetectable by AI detection tools”, and that the service does not guarantee output will meet expectations “including detection outcomes.” The Terms carry a date — 23 September 2025 — which again is better practice than several rivals manage.

Methodology. This page reports no first-party test of SuperHumanizer output. On 21 September 2026 we fetched superhumanizer.ai’s homepage, pricing page and Terms of Service at source, stripped the markup and grepped each for “ZeroGPT” and “GPTZero”, recording which detectors are named on which page and quoting the detector claims, the comparison-chart figures and the disclaimer wording verbatim. We re-read the governing-law and refund clauses against our own 3 September 2026 record of the same document to identify what changed. Vendor disclosure and user reports are quoted verbatim from r/SuperHumanizer with their posting months. ZeroGPT’s access limits, result-UI behaviour and accuracy claims are quoted from zerogpt.com read the same day. We grepped GPTZero’s February 2026 preprint, Pangram’s DAMAGE paper and Pangram’s August 2025 benchmark for SuperHumanizer by name. Where a source has a commercial stake, we say so. We have no commercial relationship with SuperHumanizer or ZeroGPT.

What should you take from this?

SuperHumanizer has the best starting position of any tool in this cluster and the weakest follow-through. The vendor named ZeroGPT as a development target, disclosed a test of eleven samples, advertised a higher number than that test produced, never mentioned ZeroGPT in any sales copy, published no screenshot of a detector that is free to anyone with a browser, and disclaimed detection outcomes in its contract.

The single public ZeroGPT score on its output is 18.1% AI, and that reads as a pass. It is also one report, from May, which a second report in August contradicts — and it is a pass on the detector whose pass is worth least.

The practical point is that you can settle this yourself in two minutes, for nothing, which is not true of Turnitin. Paste the output into zerogpt.com before you rely on it, then paste the same text into a second detector, because agreement between two is worth more than a good number from one. And remember the detector is imperfect in both directions: the tool that once called the US Constitution 92.15% AI can be wrong about your writing too.

If your real worry is being wrongly flagged on your own writing, keep your drafting history — it costs nothing and it survives a detector being wrong. It matters most for the writers detectors treat worst: ESL writers and AI detection and false positives for neurodivergent students. Check before you submit with the best pre-submission check and the Turnitin self-check, and strip the obvious tells by hand first via what to remove before using an AI humanizer.

Frequently asked questions

Does SuperHumanizer bypass ZeroGPT?

Sometimes, on the only public evidence that exists, and the evidence is thin and pointing downward. In May 2026 a user reported Super Ultra output scoring 18.1% AI on ZeroGPT, which on ZeroGPT’s gauge reads as a pass. In August 2026 another user reported that it no longer passes ZeroGPT at all, posting a sample returned as 100% AI detected after humanizing. The vendor itself publishes no ZeroGPT screenshot and no ZeroGPT figure, despite naming ZeroGPT as a detector it built the product against.

What exactly did the vendor say about ZeroGPT?

In its own subreddit, verbatim: We built SuperHumanizer based on our own AI detector, as well as ZeroGPT and GPTZero, to test its capabilities. Based on our internal tests using 11 samples of AI text, we achieved up to a 95% bypass rate. ZeroGPT is named first in that sentence. It is a development target, not a marketing line, which makes its total absence from the sales pages the odd part.

Why is ZeroGPT missing from the marketing?

We do not know, and we are not going to guess at a motive. We can only report the asymmetry. The homepage says humanized text can easily pass AI detection tools like Turnitin, GPTZero, and Originality.ai. The pricing tiers say Bypass All AI Detectors including GPTZero. Neither page names ZeroGPT anywhere, on a site whose Terms are dated 23 September 2025 and whose vendor disclosure names ZeroGPT ahead of GPTZero.

Is 18.1% on ZeroGPT good or bad?

On its face it is good, and we will not pretend otherwise. ZeroGPT returns a percentage gauge, and 18.1% reads as predominantly human. That is the strongest public result this tool has anywhere. Two things qualify it. The same user reported 49% human on GPTZero from the same workflow, which is a coin flip rather than a pass. And it is one anecdote from one person on one sample, which is the same evidentiary weight the vendor’s own 11-sample test carries.

Where does the 97% figure come from?

Marketing copy. The homepage runs a Performance Comparison chart giving 45% for Other Tools, 68% for Basic Humanizers and 97% for SuperHumanizer, with no source, method, sample size or date for any of the three bars. The vendor’s own disclosure describes something smaller: 11 samples, graded partly by its own detector, producing up to a 95% bypass rate. The figure with a method attached is the lower one.

Has any detector company tested SuperHumanizer?

No. It is absent from the appendix table in GPTZero’s February 2026 paper, which names nine bypass services individually. It is absent from Pangram’s DAMAGE audit of nineteen humanizers and from Pangram’s August 2025 benchmark of twenty. Pangram’s July 2026 paper anonymises all thirteen tools it tested, so presence there can be neither confirmed nor excluded. No independent party has published a score for this product against any detector.

How reliable is ZeroGPT as a detector?

Less than its own marketing says, and the marketing cites nothing. ZeroGPT advertises 98.4% detection accuracy and a false positive rate under 1% across 20-plus LLM families, with no study, corpus, sample size or date attached to any of those figures. It was one of the seven detectors in Liang et al. 2023, which reported a 61.22% average false positive rate on 91 TOEFL essays by non-native English writers. In 2023 it rated the United States Constitution 92.15% AI-generated.

What do the Terms commit to?

Not to detection outcomes. The Terms state that output is not guaranteed to be always undetectable by AI detection tools, and that the service does not guarantee output will meet expectations including detection outcomes. The refund is seven days and fewer than 2,000 words used, which matches the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee on the pricing page rather than contradicting it. The Terms are dated 23 September 2025 and are operated by Kamranali Limited.
