GPTinf Review: Introduction and First Impressions
This GPTinf review comes down to one conflict. GPTinf’s pricing page says its plans include a mode that “guarantees bypassing all AI detectors, without exception.” On Reddit, an account signing as the GPTinf Team wrote that the tool “isn’t meant for getting past Turnitin or any academic integrity checks.” The guarantee and the team’s own words don’t match, and that gap should shape what you buy.
My verdict is 5 out of 10. The free detector is handy and the paid toolkit is broad. But I would not pay for GPTinf based on the guarantee, and I would not trust the “12,500+ reviews” badge until someone shows where it comes from.

Product Overview and Specifications
GPTinf is an AI writing toolkit from an Estonian company. The homepage lists a humanizer, AI detector, paraphraser, plagiarism checker, readability checker and grammar checker, and the sidebar adds an essay writer. The humanizer has 8 writing modes, keyword freezing and re-humanizing of selected parts. The detector shows results from 8 systems side by side.
It is aimed at students, marketers, freelancers and ESL writers. The homepage’s “Academic Essay” use case reads: “Humanize before submission. Check what Turnitin will flag.” Its testimonials include a high school student, while the privacy notice says it does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
What GPTinf Really Costs in November 2026
The pricing page opens with the Yearly toggle already on. So the first prices you see are $4.99, $12.49 and $29.99 “/monthly,” but you only get those by paying for a year up front. The help center gives the full picture.

Words reset monthly on every paid plan, annual included, and unused words do not roll over. One point the help center makes plainly: annual Pro gives you 25,000 words a month, not 300,000 up front. If you need a humanizer for one heavy month, annual pricing is a trap and monthly is cheaper. The calculator below shows where that flips.

Design and Interface
The page is clean: one text box, tool tabs under it, and a sidebar for each tool. You can try it without signing up. That part of the sales pitch is true, and it is the fair way to judge it. Paste 120 words of your own and read the output before paying. I did not run this test myself for this piece, so you would be getting better evidence than I have.
Performance Analysis
The Guarantee vs GPTinf’s Own Words
Here is what GPTinf says in different places. The wording changes depending on who is reading.

| Where | What it says |
|---|---|
| Pricing page | “guarantees bypassing all AI detectors, without exception”; “always 0 % AI score” |
| Homepage | “<5%” average AI score after humanization. Accuracy “varies based on how much the original text has been edited” |
| Trustpilot profile, written by the company | Score as “very likely human” even in “GPTZero and Turnitin” |
| r/GPTinf, signed GPTinf Team | “isn’t meant for getting past Turnitin or any academic integrity checks” |
| Same Reddit reply | “we don’t support using it to submit AI-generated work as your own” |
A guarantee only means something if it says what you get when it fails. I found no remedy for a failed bypass on the pricing page or in the refund article. The only route is the normal 3-day refund request, which is case by case. And a refund does nothing for you if your school has already seen the score. Our notes on Turnitin’s humanizer detection explain why this risk keeps moving.
What other people’s tests found
I ran no test of my own, so this table is borrowed evidence. Read it with care: the two best-documented tests come from companies selling rival tools.
| Source | Result reported | Conflict |
|---|---|---|
| Originality.ai, as summarized by Phrasly | Humanized text still 100% AI on Originality.ai, GPTZero and Copyleaks; only Writer said human | Sells a detector |
| Phrasly | GPTinf’s detector flagged 89% of a 2015 New York Times article as AI | Sells a rival detector and humanizer |
| Trustpilot reviewer, Aug 2026 | 76% AI on their own handwritten text. GPTinf’s reply admits longer human writing can trigger false positives | None known, one person |
| r/CheckTurnitin poster | Same text: GPTinf 100%, GPTZero 0%, Pangram 62% | None known, one person |
| GPTinf | <5% average score after humanizing, no method shown | It is the seller |
None of this proves GPTinf fails today. Detectors and rewriters both change. It does mean the claim of “all detectors, without exception” has no public proof behind it that I could find. Disagreement between detectors is normal, as our Pangram vs GPTZero comparison shows.
Scorecard
These scores rate the evidence and the paperwork, not lab results.
12,500+ Reviews vs 37 on Trustpilot
The homepage badge says “Rated 4.5, 12,500+ reviews” and links to GPTinf’s reviews page. That page shows a Trustpilot widget and a short list of anonymous testimonials that it openly calls “a curated selection.” I found no count of 12,500 anywhere on it. Trustpilot itself shows 4.3 from 37 reviews. The badge may draw on a source I could not see, but it does not name one.
To be fair, Trustpilot notes GPTinf has no recent history of asking for reviews, and GPTinf replied to 83% of negative reviews. Most recent 5-star reviews are one line long, so they tell you little either way.
User Experience
Setup is close to nil: paste, pick a mode, run. Reported support is mixed. One Trustpilot reviewer who bought an annual plan said the word count did not reset after month one and that support stopped replying. GPTinf replied publicly, apologized and offered to fix it or review a refund. I can’t tell you how it ended. If you buy annual, check your balance on day one of month two.
What Happens to Your Text in GPTinf
The homepage says text “is not stored, shared, or used for model training after the session ends.” The help center is more detailed, and it is the version to believe:
- Saved humanizations on paid plans with history are stored on GPTinf servers tied to your account.
- The AI detector sends your text to 8 outside detector services by API. Each has its own privacy policy, and Phrasly reports that GPTinf doesn’t publicly name them.
- Anonymous runs are “not retained beyond the session,” and GPTinf says it does not sell your text or use it to train models.
So if your draft is under NDA or unpublished research, the free detector is the riskier tool, because your text leaves GPTinf. The current privacy notice is dated February 2023 and still has blank spaces where the payment processor’s name should be. For the wider picture, see what humanizers do with text you paste in.
Who Runs GPTinf, and the Lookalike Site
Some write-ups say nobody knows who is behind GPTinf. The legal pages do name a company: the terms list Magura Digital OU, registry code 16981402, in Tallinn, Estonia. The same terms pick the laws and courts of Ukraine, and the Trustpilot profile gives an address in Lviv. No founder is named on the pages I read. If you have a dispute, plan on dealing with it from far away.
One thing to watch: a Reddit user warned that gptinf.io is a scam and that the real site is gptinf.com. I did not test gptinf.io, but check your address bar before you pay.
Comparative Analysis
I won’t compare bypass rates here, because I have no fair test across these tools. Trustpilot gives a public number for each. These are the figures shown on GPTinf’s profile page on 2 November 2026.
| Tool | Trustpilot score | Reviews | Our review |
|---|---|---|---|
| GPTinf | 4.3 | 37 | This page |
| Phrasly | 4.7 | 4K | Phrasly review |
| WriteHuman | 4.2 | 315 | WriteHuman review |
| StealthGPT | 3.9 | 204 | StealthGPT review |
| Undetectable AI | 3.6 | 1K | Undetectable AI review |
| BypassGPT | 3 | 299 | BypassGPT review |
GPTinf’s real edge is breadth for the price: plagiarism, grammar and readability checks come in one bill. If you only want rewriting, also look at Walter Writes or GPTHuman, and smaller humanizers that Reddit recommends. Keep in mind Reddit lists are often promotion too. A 107-comment r/BypassAiDetect post calls GPTinf a waste of time and ranks Walter Writes first, while r/WhoWrote_This has a run of posts from one account that favor GPTinf. I could not tell whether either author is connected to a vendor.
Pros and Cons
- Detector is free and unlimited, with no account needed
- Six tools on one bill, plus 8 writing modes and keyword freeze
- You can try 120 words before paying
- Annual plans cut the price by about half
- Detailed help center that spells out refunds and data handling
- “Guarantee” conflicts with the team’s own Reddit statement
- Pricing page opens on yearly rates shown as monthly
- 12,500+ review badge has no visible source; Trustpilot shows 37
- Detector sends your text to 8 outside services
- Published false positive reports on human writing
- 3-day refund window, reviewed case by case; words don’t roll over
- Legal pages dated 2023, with blanks left in the privacy notice
Evolution and Updates in 2026
Older write-ups of GPTinf quote prices that no longer match, some as high as $79 a month. The current top plan is $59.99. Reddit posts also still describe a 300-word free limit, while the help center now says 120 per run. Today’s paid plans bundle plagiarism, readability and grammar tools. The legal pages have not kept up: both still say “last updated February 21, 2023,” and the homepage FAQ talks about four tools while its headline says six.
Purchase Recommendations
Best for
- Bloggers and marketers cleaning up stiff AI drafts who will edit the result themselves
- Anyone who wants a quick free second opinion from several detectors on non-confidential text
- People who want one cheap bill for grammar, plagiarism and rewriting
Skip if
- You want to submit AI-written work to a school. GPTinf itself says it doesn’t support that, and your school’s policy matters more than any score. Start with what to do if Turnitin flags you if you are already in trouble
- You wrote the text yourself and were falsely flagged. Keep your version history instead, and read about checking AI risk without a Turnitin account
- Your draft is confidential
Where to Buy and Best Deals
Buy only at gptinf.com. Payments go through Paddle. The best deal depends on your timing. Annual is about 50% off only if you will use it for most of a year. On every plan, annual costs the same as 6 months of monthly billing, so it only wins past month 6. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the term, but ask for a refund within 3 days of the charge, using the steps in the refund article. A refund does not cancel your plan, so do both.

GPTinf Review FAQ
Is GPTinf legit?
It is a real paid product run by a registered company, Magura Digital OU in Estonia, with payments through Paddle and a working help center. Legit does not mean its claims hold up. Its pricing page guarantees bypassing all AI detectors, while its own team says on Reddit that it is not meant for getting past Turnitin.
Does GPTinf bypass Turnitin?
I cannot confirm that, and nobody outside a school can test it fully, since only institutions run Turnitin. GPTinf’s team says the tool is not meant for that use. Treat any promise of a clean Turnitin score as unproven.
How much does GPTinf cost?
Monthly billing is $9.99 for Lite, $24.99 for Pro and $59.99 for Unlimited. Annual billing is $59.99, $149.99 and $359.99 a year. The pricing page opens on the yearly toggle, so the $4.99, $12.49 and $29.99 you see first are yearly plans shown as a monthly rate.
Is GPTinf free?
Partly. The AI detector is free and unlimited. The humanizer gives 120 words per run without an account and 240 words in total with a free account, according to its help center.
Does GPTinf store your text?
It depends on the tool and plan. The homepage says text is not stored after the session. The help center says paid plans with history keep saved work on GPTinf servers. The detector also sends your text to 8 outside detector services, each with its own privacy policy.
Can I get a refund from GPTinf?
Refunds are reviewed case by case within 3 days of the charge. They are less likely if you have used most of your words. A refund does not cancel the subscription, so cancel separately.
Is the GPTinf AI detector accurate?
Evidence is thin and mixed. Phrasly, which sells a rival detector, reported 89% AI on a 2015 New York Times article. A Trustpilot reviewer reported 76% AI on their own handwritten text, and GPTinf replied that false positives can happen. Do not treat one score as proof.
Who owns GPTinf?
Its terms and privacy notice name Magura Digital OU, registry code 16981402, in Tallinn, Estonia. Its Trustpilot profile lists an address in Lviv, Ukraine, and the terms choose Ukrainian law and courts.
